PhD project:
In my PhD, I am investigating the acoustic properties of infant-directed singing, how infants neurally process infant-directed singing, and how they react to it behaviorally and physiologically. I am interested in studying different types of infant-directed singing (like playsongs and lullabies) in controlled lab settings as well as natural settings at home.
Past experiences:
I did my bachelor's in Biology and my master's in Behavioral, Cognitive, and Neurobiology at the University of Vienna. My master's thesis was on the effects of friendship, age, and gender on cooperation and competition in kindergarten children.
Outside the lab:
In my free time, I like to sing, listen to music, spend time in nature, and go to museums.
