Ph.D. Project:

My project try to analyze, in one hand the relation between individual behavioral differences and home range size in Darwin's finches and, in another hand measure the posible changes in thethe risk-taking behavior and predator defense patterns in Darwin's finches, before and after a rat erradication progam to be executed in Floreana Island, Galapagos-Ecuador.

Past experiences:

I'm Ecuadorian, I did my bachelor's in Biological and Environmental Science at Universidad Central del Ecuador. Since 2012 I have been working as field assistant and field technician on several projects mainly with songbirds, across my country. In 2016 I started to work on the Galapagos Archipelago, helping with long-term research on Darwin´s Finches and the parasitic fly Philornis downsi in different islands and Darwin’s Finches behavior. I’m interested in animal behavior, biodiversity and evolution.

Outside the lab:

I like to enjoy a nice walk to watch birds, good movies and songs.
