I am a bachelor in Biology and got my Master in Experimental Psychology, with an specialization in animal behavior. Back in Brazil I researched communication between dogs and humans and worked as a dog trainer. The topic of my PhD is “Mechanism for cooperation in dogs and wolves”. We know that these animals can cooperate both with their own species and with humans, and now we want to investigate if they truly understand the role that their partners have in a cooperative situation.
I run my research under the supervision of Prof. Friederike Range and Dr. Giulia Cimarelli in the Domestication Lab. Outside of the lab I enjoy reading fantasy and kayaking, and I will never say no to a cup of coffee.
