Lecture series are introducing students to the current state of research in essential topics in animal cognition and cognitive science. Speakers includes members of the faculty as well as invited guests from around the world. Our lecture series provides insight into the core methods and concepts of the scientific fields involved, integrating disciplines and encouraging cross-pollination and meta-theoretical analysis.
According to the advice of the supervisor, mentor and/or fellow faculty members, special courses can also be taken. These shall provide basic and introductory knowledge of issues, approaches, methods, and models in cognition and communication, and will help equalize and equilibrate the differences in the students’ knowledge coming from different countries and mother disciplines.
